Reflexology is an ancient, safe and effective holistic therapy which activates the body’s own natural healing abilities, and seeks to bring all systems of the body into balance. Facial reflexology can induce a deep state of relaxation owing to the proximity of the facial reflex points to the brain and central nervous system. The treatment sends soothing messages directly to the body’s neuro-pathways, meaning the relaxing effects of a treatment are deep and instantaneous. I specialise in the Bergman Method of Facial Reflexology, and completed my training at the London School of Reflexology under the watchful eye of Ziggie Bergman I will start the treatment with Facial Reflexology, which delivers all the well documented health and well-being effects of traditional foot reflexology, with the added benefit of providing a rejuvenating transformation of your skin and enhanced complexion. After gently cleansing and relaxing the muscles of your face with hot towels, I will apply an organic facial oil suitable for your skin type. During the treatment I use gentle pressure to stimulate reflex points on the face incorporating massage and natural facelift techniques to help smooth any wrinkles and rejuvenate the skin. This treatment is slow, gentle and soothing which means most clients find the treatment extremely relaxing, and drift off to sleep! My mission is for you to experience a sense of inner calm, a deep feeling of well-being and benefiting from a glowing and rejuvenated complexion. I will then refresh your feet with hot steamy towels and work on balancing the reflexes within your feet with pressure techniques so that you can drift off into a deeper state of relaxation. A full medical history will be requested on your first treatment, and you will be asked to sign a consent form for treatment. This information will be kept confidential. My treatment room is always fragranced with their wonderful essential oil blends - during your treatment I will set the scene by popping a relaxing Aromatherapy Blend in the diffuser for a sense of peace and tranquillity.
